COVID-19 Vax for 50+

We will commence COVID-19 vaccinations for people over 50 years from Thursday 6th May. Please BOOK ONLINE if possible as this helps to automate the consent forms and follow-up appointments for your second injection. If you can’t book online, call 4284 4622.
The latest advice from the National Department of Health is that the AstraZeneca vaccine will be prioritised for people aged 50 years and over. At this stage, we only have only received supply of AstraZeneca vaccine.
Note, we are currently vaccinating people eligible for Phase 1B (aged over 70 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People over 55, health care workers, people with underlying medical condition and their carers, critical and high risk workers, meat processing workers.) You can double check your eligibility as you book. For people under the age of 50 who are eligible for Phase 1B, please discuss with your doctor the relative benefits and risks of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
