Michael has a strong background in the treatment and prevention of skin cancer. He has worked alongside clinicians from the Melanoma Institute of Australia.
After completing his medical education at the University of Queensland, Michael worked at Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane where he undertook rotations in psychiatry, emergency medicine, paediatrics and dermatology as well as other areas of medicine.
Before coming to Australia in 2002, Michael completed a Master’s of Science at the State University of New York in Chemistry. As a research chemist, he worked on drug development and the synthetic production of Heparin.

John completed his medical degree at the University of Wollongong in 2014, having previously completed a physiotherapy degree at Sydney University in 2004.
John has worked across a range of medical areas in the Illawarra, including general practice, emergency medicine, sports medicine and medical education. He’s also travelled extensively as a clinician, working as a solo doctor in remote areas such as King Island, South-west Western Australia and Hamilton Island.
He is interested in all aspects of general practice and enjoys providing holistic care and developing long-standing relationships with individuals and families.
John has a special interest in sports medicine. He currently works as a match day doctor with St George Illawarra Dragons NRL Club and the Wellington Phoenix A-League Club. Berlinda is an Irish-Australian trained doctor with broad medical experience. She was born in Singapore and initially completed her Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Political Science) from the National University of Singapore in 2000. She graduated with honours from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Berlinda spent many years working in Emergency Medicine in Westmead Hospital. She has experience and training in paediatrics, as she holds a Diploma in Child Health from University of Sydney (2015). She also has a special interest in Palliative Care and Skin Cancer Medicine and has pursued a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine in Liverpool Hospital (2014) and Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine from the Bond University (2018).
Berlinda started working in general practice in 2015 in Bathurst. She trained and worked in rural NSW and has significant experience with chronic health issues and caring for older patients.
Berlinda can perform minor skin surgery, biopsies, as well as insertion and removal of Implanon Rods. She also has an interest in medical education and is an accredited GP supervisor, involved in the teaching and supervision of GP registrars. She is also a RACGP OSCE examiner.

Victoria graduated from the University of Sydney’s Graduate Medical Program in 2012, after completing an undergraduate degree in English and Chemistry. She spent her junior doctor years working in Northern Sydney, as well as several months in Katherine in the Northern Territory working in an Aboriginal Medical Service.
Victoria has a Diploma of Child Health and a Family Planning Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Her areas of interest include peadiatrics, women’s health (in particular perimenopause and menopause management), antenatal care and sexual health. Victoria is qualified to insert Implanon and recently finished training to administer medical termination of pregnancy.
Victoria recently moved to the Illawarra with her husband and young daughter. She previously lived in the inner west of Sydney and worked in a general practice in West Ryde.

Dr Rebecca Goodman’s passion for health began with a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Sydney University in 1995. She completed her medical degree in 2003 at Flinders University, Adelaide, and has worked as a GP for over 12 years.
Rebecca worked extensively in paediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s hospital in Adelaide, completing her Diploma in Child Health. She moved to Darwin for 5 years and gained her fellowship in General Practice in 2007. She broadened her skill set to include Aboriginal health and Women’s and Sexual Health (including Implanon and IUD insertions). She also completed a Masters of Public Health during her time in Darwin.

Saroja graduated from the University of NSW in 1990 and completed 3 years of postgraduate training in the Illawarra Hospital Network. She undertook her specialty training in General Practice in a variety of General Practices and in 1996 was awarded the Monte-Kent Hughes Medal for the highest national mark in the RACGP Fellowship Exams.
From 2003 till 2012, whilst continuing as a part time GP, she was the Director of Training for the Illawarra’s GP Training Provider developing extensive educational and training opportunities for GPs.

Dr Luke Harvey is excited to finally work in the place he has called home for many years! He arrived in the northern Illawarra as a teenager, emigrating from Scotland with his family. He lived in the area through most of his studies, and returned in 2022 with his wife and two children after a few years in Sydney.
Luke undertook medical school at Western Sydney University before completing hospital training in western Sydney. He completed his general practice training, qualifying as a specialist GP in 2019. He is currently undertaking further training in dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine. He is also an accredited supervisor for GP trainees through the RACGP.
Away from work, Luke enjoys spending time with his young family, watching soccer (for his sins, he follows Partick Thistle FC from afar), cooking and performing questionable cover versions of The Smiths on his guitar.
