Bulli Medical Practice is a not a bulk billing practice. It is the policy of the Practice that payment for consultation is made at the time of your appointment.
Once your consultation is paid, payment is expected at the conclusion of each consultation. We accept payment via EFTPOS facilities (debit and credit card: Visa & Mastercard but do not accept American Express). We no longer accept cash. We also accept payments via direct deposit (ask our reception staff for our bank details) or via our HotDoc payment platform.
Medicare rebates may be claimed by direct deposit into your nominated bank account or transmitted back onto your debit card at the finalisation of your account at reception. Alternatively, a receipt can be issued to claim in person at a Medicare office.
The individual treating doctor will inform you and reception staff of the fee to be charged for your consultation.
Please be advised that for longer appointments, where multiple health issues need to be addressed, an appropriate appointment length (Level C or D) should be made and the fee will be higher. Please discuss any payment issues with your doctor.
All workers compensation visits are payable by the patient on the day of the visit. Accounts will not be provided. These visits will be charged at AMA recommended rates and you will be provided with a receipt so that you can claim back from your employer/insurance company.
