Online appointments available via HotDoc
Hot Doc is a fully-integrated, automatic and real time online appointment booking system. Patients can make appointments via their home computer, iPhone and/or Android phone. If you have a smart phone or android you can download an app via the app store (search for HotDoc).
Please note that HotDoc has a strict policy around how it handles patient data:
• HotDoc does not pass on any patient data to 3rd parties
• HotDoc does not engage in 3rd party advertising
• HotDoc strictly abides by its Company Promise
We offer appointments from 8am to 7.30pm weekdays, and on Saturdays from 8am to 11.30am.
For services after hours you can contact Wollongong Radio Doctor on T: 4228 5522.
All urgent appointments are seen on the day of request, but please phone as early as possible from 7.30am.
If you need to make a non-urgent appointment, or to check test results, or request a prescription or referral, please try to telephone between 12 noon and 2pm when our phones are less busy.
Please remember that many of our doctors work part-time. You can check which days doctors work on our General Practitioner team page.
On some occasions you may not be able to see your normal doctor, and one of our other doctors will provide quality care. If necessary, your normal doctor will be consulted to ensure continuity of care.
Please remember the length of a standard appointment is 15 minutes and this is usually only enough to cover one health issue. It is important for other patients waiting that appointments run to the scheduled time. If you have a number of health issues to discuss, or a complex issue then please book a longer appointment. Level C appointments are 30 minutes and Level D appointments are 45 minutes.
We are moving towards text message reminders or confirmations of appointments. Please inform the reception staff and ensure they have your current mobile telephone number.
If you are unable to attend a schedule appointment please telephone the Surgery on 4284 4622.
We welcome new patients. If you are new to the practice, please try to come ten minutes early to your first appointment in order to complete a new patient form.
We also encourage existing patients to update their contact details from time to time, or if any information changes.
